Hotel – Hyatt Regency Hong Kong Tsim Tsa Tsui
When we arrived at the airport, we swung by the Hyatt Desk in the Arrivals Hall. They checked on our room and saw that it would not be ready for a few hours. With that information, we went to the Arrivals Lounge, showered, refreshed ourselves with coffee and took an Uber to the hotel. We checked in our luggage at the front desk and were allowed to hang out in the Club Lounge. Having Elite status helps. We were able to obtain elite status through a Status Match that Hyatt offered earlier in the year. We then made sure to stay at Hyatts while traveling this year. We then had enough points needed to use the Points & Cash option (7,500 points + $100USD per night.) With our Diamond Status with Hyatt, we were able to apply one of our suite upgrades to the room. After having “Brunch” at the lounge, we walked down to the Harbour, took some pictures, and headed back to get our room keys.
The service was exceptional at the hotel. We had breakfast in the morning and hors d’oeuvres in the evening almost every day. The staff in the lounge knew what we liked, and knew us by name as well. The selection of food changed every day and was well stocked. Our room had a great view of the city and was centrally located to the things we wanted to do.
